Retiring Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has upped the pressure for new manager David Moyes, saying that Moyes will have to lead the club to three more Premier League wins in a row.
The retiring United boss issued the challenge during last night's victory parade through the city as the Red Devils celebrated a record 20th League crown, after United scored the winner in Sunday's 2-1 triumph over Swansea, The Sun reports.
According to the Scot, who was in charge when United completed the hat-trick from 1999-2001 and again from 2007-2009, the PL champions have a young squad, with a lot of good young players, who will be getting better as time passes, adding the main test is to win the PL title three times in a row.
Addressing the thousands of fans after 26-and-a-half years as boss, Ferguson, who masterminded the club's historic Treble, said that he is happy that the club has managed to beat the record of the 1999 PL win.
Although the recent win was Ferguson's 13th title and 38th trophy in charge of United, he said that he has not been carried away by the revelry and does not think that he has made a mistake in standing down in favour of his fellow Scot.
According to the report, the open-top bus victory parade began outside Old Trafford before ending on the balcony of Manchester Town Hall.
