The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), is organising a workshop on the review of PAT (Perform, Achieve and Trade) Cycle I with the theme "Learnings and Way Forward on Wednesday.
Experts from the energy sector will make presentations and address the workshop.
S.P. Garnaik, Head (Energy Efficiency), ICF International, and Dr. Ashok Kumar, Energy Economist, Bureau of Energy Efficiency will address the two sessions of the event.
Dr. Ajay Mathur, Director General, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Govt. of India will be addressing the valedictory session.
The Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) Scheme introduced by BEE will be completing its first cycle soon.
Thereafter, the second cycle of PAT will pave its way possibly with greater ramifications for the energy efficiency measures being undertaken.

As one moves from the first cycle of the Scheme to the next, it is pivotal to take stock of scheme's achievements, shortcomings and most importantly the learnings for the future.
The workshop, therefore, aims at finding whether PAT-I delivered desired objectives and what are the big challenges in PAT-II and possible mitigating actions.
