Taking forward the momentum of the government's flagship "Digital India" program aimed at transforming the nation into a digitally empowered society as well as to revive the state of governance in the country, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organizing 'Digital Bharat Seminar Series' in four different states of Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.

The seminar on "Integrated Digital Solutions for a Smarter India" is being held in Delhi today, while the seminar on "Integrated Digital Solutions for a Smarter Karnataka" will be held in Bangalore on July 24.

The seminar on "Integrated Digital Solutions for a Smarter Tamil Nadu" will be held in Chennai on July 27, while the seminar on "Integrated Digital Solutions for a Smarter Telangana" will be held at Hyderabad on July b29.

The seminars will be addressed by senior functionaries from the government and industry leaders, who will discuss the role and scope of communication technologies, challenges being faced and find solutions towards realizing an ICT-driven transformation in India.

Focus of the event shall also be on promoting further investments and enhancing participation of the Communications and Technology industry but also the pro A/V industry in the state.
It may be recalled here that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the Digital India Week on July 1.
