Australian bowler Shaun Tait celebrated his engagement to Mumbai beauty Mashoom Singha, who is a swimsuit model turned wine entrepreneur, in the best way possible by delivering a hat-trick for English County side Essex against Nottingham at Trent Bridge on Friday.
According to The Advertiser, Tait revealed that living with Singha in Mumbai's trendy Bandra strip had made him appreciate the simple things in life and a more relaxed, peaceful soul, and he had proposed to her in Paris last month.
Singha, who featured in a swimsuit calendar shoot for brewer Kingfisher on Kangaroo Island eight years ago, said Tait is quiet in his private life, which is in contrast with his persona as wild thing in cricket.
Tait and Singha met at an Indian Premier League function in 2010 where the former Test speedster fronts for Rajasthan Royals and the couple are expected to hold a celebration in Mumbai after the Friends Provident T20 series ends, the report said.
It is understood Singha will explore business opportunities in Adelaide during Tait's month long stay with the Strikers who commence their Big Bash League campaign against the Hurricanes in Hobart on December 22, the report further said.
