In a latest development to the controversy revolving around World Cup bidding process, FIFA ethics judge Hans-Joachim Eckert and lawyer Michael Garcia have agreed to release full copies of probing reports into the WC bidding corruption to the organisation's compliance chief.

Domenico Scala, the independent chairman of the organisation's Audit and Compliance Committee would put forward selected evidence to FIFA's executive committee, who would subsequently evaluate which steps are required, the BBC reported.

Eckert and Garcia have stated that it is of paramount importance that the committee possesses essential information to evaluate the report done by its Ethics Committee.

Based on its report, FIFA had earlier acquitted Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022 respectively of charges of corruption, stressing that was no need for a revote.

However, the demands were made to publish Garcia's report into the long-standing allegations of corruption surrounding the bidding process last week.
