'Fifty Shades of Grey' actor, Jamie Dornan, has signed his next project 'The Siege of Jadotville.'
The 32-year-old Irish actor, who would be portraying a U.N. commander in the film, which is to be helmed by first-time director Richie Smyth and produced by Alan Moloney, said that he admired both Smyth and Moloney, and was really looking forward to the work with them, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
Smyth added that he thought Dornan to be the perfect man to play the lead as Commandant Quinlan and was really excited to start working with him.
The Parallel Films' geopolitical action thriller, which was penned by Kevin Brodbin, would focus on the 1961 siege of 150 Irish U.N. troops in the Congo, and would begin filming post Dornan finishes promoting Fifty Shades of Grey in 2015.
