Filipino boxer and politician Manny Pacquiao has said that he is very excited about his upcoming comeback to the sport, which will take place next month.
The Filipino welterweight, an eight-division world champion, will be taking on American Brandon Rios in China on November 23 in a bid to rebuild his career after two successive defeats.
The Mirror reports that despite the setbacks, however, Pacquiao, who has won world titles from flyweight up to light-middleweight, has expressed optimism about his return to the ring, saying that he is very excited to have the chance to box again as he is feeling very fresh, strong and fast.
Pacquiao, a Congressman in his native Philippines, also said that he has been training hard for this fight, although he added that he will not go for the knockout in the fight as he believes that if he focuses on knockout while training, there are chances that he may get careless in the ring during the fight.
