One head constable was killed after a massive fire engulfed a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) training centre in Delhi's R.K. Puram area on Saturday.
The fire is believed to have originated from the records room of the office.
As many as six fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
"We got the call at around 1.40 am, after which two fire tenders were sent to the spot. When we saw lots of smoke coming out of the building, we sent four more fire tenders at around 2.15 am. One head constable of CRPF has lost his life," said Yashwant Singh, a fire officer.
