For the promotion of art and tourism in the Kashmir valley, authorities began the first 3D street painting event at Zabarwan Park which is located at the banks of the world famous Dal Lake.

The unique art initiative is being promoted in Kashmir by SPACE Communications, Event and Sports Management Company in collaboration with J-K Tourism, aimed to attract locals as well as tourists with the help of new activities including 3D street painting.

Street painting is a very famous artform in European countries and since the last few years it is also gaining popularity in India.

During the event, an artistic team represented by Guinness World Record holder and renowned 3D street artist Limnesh Augustine, based in Bahrain and Mexican artist Vero Gonzalez who also has multiple Guinness Records and global awards to his credit in this art form, painted on a stone floor and made unique pictures that people, including tourists, were seeing through a 3D film.

The artists that were coming outside the country enjoyed painting in the Valley because they felt that "Kashmir is the best tourist destination and in future, such type of activities can be very helpful to boost the art tourism and natural beauty of the Valley".
