Google recently appointed its senior vice president of advertising and commerce, Susan Wojcicki, as the new chief of its video site YouTube.

There are a few things about the new boss that one should know, as Google CEO Larry Page pointed out that Wojcicki has a 'healthy disregard for the impossible,' so one can't help but notice the five most important things about the new lady in-charge.

According to Cnet, 45-year-old Wojcicki's garage was the home for the now search giant Google back in 1998. Steve Jobs had then introduced the first iMac and a couple of computer-savvy Stanford University students (read Sergey Brin and Larry Page) set up the search engine that eventually became the multi-billion dollar company as known today.

Wojcicki is part of the Google dynasty when she first rented her garage to Brin and Page to help pay her mortgage 16 years ago. She was the 16th person hired by the company and is married to a fellow Google exec. Dennis Troper while her sister Annie Wojcicki Brin's wife.

Another interesting thing about Wojcicki is that she was four months pregnant when she joined Google, a decision she considers was the best of her life.

The new boss ironically wanted to be an artist as a kid, but Wojcicki said that in some ways that's what actually led her to technology as it was like a new way of making things.

The report added that Wojcicki is the one who led Google's high-profile projects like Google Images and Google Books and in her former role of ad head, she was responsible for the company's advertising products, accounting for 87 percent of its revenues in 2012.
