Flappy Bird, the simple yet addictive game that was making an unbelievable 50,000 dollars per day in ad revenue has been reportedly taken off the Apple App Store and Google Play Store by its Vietnamese developer.
Developer Dong Nguyen post a tweet announcing that he would be pulling down the game, which recently hit the number one spot on the iOS charts, in next 22 hours and there were no legal issues for the removal.
According to Tech Crunch, although, the original Flappy Birds is gone from the Google and Apple app stores, a lot of 'versions' of the real game still remain on the stores like 'Ironpants', which has surprisingly taken the top spot in App Store's free games chart.
Nguyen suggested that the many pressures of success had become overwhelming as he tweeted that he couldn't take it anymore.

When Nguyen had earlier revealed the game's ad revenue in a tweet, Internet commentators had suggested that it was something of a ploy to bump downloads up even higher

The report said that if Nguyen has removed the entire package of the game from iTunes Connect, then he would be required to resubmit it and wait for the company's approval.
However, if he has merely made the game unavailable country-by-country, he could bring back the game by simply ticking a few check boxes, the report added.
