A special aircraft of the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will be bringing back the bodies of 12 Nepali citizens who were killed in a suicide attack in Kabul , on Wednesday.
The aircraft also airlifted 24 other Nepalese working in Afghanistan, reports the Himalayan Times.
The Nepal government on Tuesday had said that it was ready to evacuate its citizens working in Afghanistan if they wanted to return home.
The flight is scheduled to land at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at around 3 p.m..
According to reports, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli will also visit the airport.
As many as 12 Nepali workers were killed and seven others injured when a suspected Taliban suicide bomber targeted a minibus they were travelling on Monday.
The Nepalis were on their way to the Canadian Embassy where they were working as guards. They were hired by a British security consultancy firm, Sabre International, for the security of Kabul-based Canadian mission.
