England coach Andy Flower has blamed senior players who failed to perform in Australia for the recent Ashes disappointment, according to reports.
According to the Mirror, the coach accepts he's also responsible for losing the Urn in just three matches but said that he doesn't score runs or take catches and wickets.
He said that it is obvious that the England team underperformed badly with the bad and they are not going to win many Test matches or series if they don't score heavily in the first innings.
He added that the team has been behind in the game early on in all three games and that makes it very tough to fight back from.
He further said that in every big Test series, they need the senior players to perform and need their experienced players to use that experience to bring results.
