England team director Andy Flower has taken a swipe at Australia after Jonathan Trott quit the Ashes and flew home due to a stress-related illness.
According to CityAM.com, escalating tensions between the sides characterised Australia's 381-run victory in Brisbane, though Flower revealed the 32-year-old had fought a long battle against his condition.
Flower said that Trott has had his ups and downs through the month and Warner's comments about the batsman have not been directly related to his departure.
However, the England coach added that players commenting about fellow professionals in the media are disrespectful, adding that on this occasion, it had gone horribly wrong.
Warner admitted yesterday he may have crossed a line with his personal criticism of Trott, who he also accused of having 'scared eyes', after day three of the first Test but stopped short of apologizing, the report said.
