As MS Dhoni's team is poised to take on Australia this year, there would be something missing as Perth chef Gogo Govardhan, who has been the Indian team's touring cook on Australian visits for more than a decade, might not be on the tour.
Govardhan, who runs Gogo's Madras Curry House reportedly, might miss the tour as no test has been scheduled in Perth. It has also been reportedly said that there were talks about not having enough Western food on the shared buffet, instead having too much Indian cuisines during the last series against India in 2011-12.
Govardhan had once even sent a couple of hundreds of his famous lamb chops to Mumbai for a party at former Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar's place.
