Football's most valuable players list has reportedly been revealed with Barcelona's Lionel Messi topping the list valued between 200.2 to 232.6 million euros.
CIES Football Observatory's annual report has reportedly named Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard and Neymar as the top five but the research group's report of the top 60 most valuable players in Europe's big five leagues also has plenty of surprise findings, Metro.co.uk reported.
The University of Neuchatel-affiliated research group, that has detailed knowledge of actual prices paid in thousands of transfers within Europe's 'Big Five' leagues over recent years, has valued Ross Barkley more than Juan Mata, Olivier Giroud is valued more than Radamel Falcao and David Luiz is worth only half of what Paris Saint-Germain are willing to pay for him.
