Force India driver Sergio Perez has reportedly slammed the current Grand Prix situation as 'boring'.

Perez, who has switched from McLaren to Force India this season, said that Malaysia was quite a boring race adding that Formula One has changed a lot.

The Mexican speed merchant said that there is less downforce in the tyres this season, and although the Italian tyre manufacturer Pirelli is going really aggressive with the new harder tyre compounds degradation is not really improving, the Mirror reports.

Perez said that the tyres are degrading in the same way as a softer compound because one is sliding a lot adding that the lack of downforce makes following the cars difficult.

Perez also said that the lack of grip that a racer has on the grid is really a lot and there is more torque in the cars adding that the pace that Formula One saw compared to last year was amazing.

The Force India driver said that in Malaysia the pace was really slow adding that the racing has become more difficult these days.

Force India owner Vijay Mallya has predicted that they will be able to repeat Nico Hulkenberg's fifth place finish in Sepang and the team is looking to capitalise on its strong early season form, the report added.
