According to reports, the reason behind the adjournment was the presence of former BCCI chief N Srinivasan, who attended the meeting as a representative of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).This led the other members to protest.
Meanwhile, members of the Bihar Cricket Association took to the streets with banners and placards to protest against Srinivasan.
The BCCI's Working Committee meeting was being held to discuss the way forward for Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, the two IPL franchises that have been given a two-year suspension by the Lodha Committee, because their team owners - Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra -- were involved in betting during the 2013 edition of the IPL.
