The Delhi police on Sunday arrested four people in connection with former Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Bharat Singh's murder case.
"We had set up a trap based on some information and had arrested three people in Bharat Singh's murder case. Whereabouts of another accused were revealed during interrogation following which the fourth culprit has also been arrested," said Joint Commissioner of Police, Ravindra Yadav.
Last Sunday, Singh was shot dead when some unidentified persons opened fire in Najafgarh area of the capital. Two of Singh's associates were also critically injured in the mishap.
Singh was attending a programme in the area, from where he was elected MLA in 2009.
A similar attack had taken place on Singh in June 2012 as well.
