Four Australians, including former diplomats, are on an epic trip across India - riding Royal Enfield motorcycles - all the way from the Himalayas down to the southern tip of India.
They've already made their way over the high passes of Leh and Manali, and now they're turning their sights towards the vast lands of central India and the Deccan, a statement from the Australian High Commission said.
According to the Australian High Commission release, these riders are raising money for the NGO, Plan India.
They hope this adventure will over time blossom into a much bigger annual event drawing dozens of riders from all over the world to India to raise money for Plan India and other worthy causes.
They will make a brief stop at the Australian High Commission on September 29 at 5 p.m., to hand over a cheque to Plan India's Director of Program Implementation, Mohammed Asif, and meet Australia's Acting Deputy High Commissioner, Jenny Grant-Curnow, the high commission release said.
