At least four people have reportedly been killed after an avalanche struck the ski resort of Tignes in the French Alps.
Nine people were skiing off-piste when the incident occurred, reports The Independent.
The rescuers pulled out two persons alive from the avalanche.
However, three persons are still missing and the rescuers are searching for survivors using several dog teams and helicopters.
According to reports, the avalanche was 400 metres wide and happened around 2,100 metres altitude.
