As a major economic partner of India, France has committed to become a partner country for the 8th Vibrant Gujarat Global summit 2017 to be held from 10th to 13th January 2017 at Gujarat.
H.E Jean-Marc Ayrault, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development, France will be leading the French delegation of business leaders at Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2017.
France is strong sectors such as engineering, aerospace, energy, etc. and ensures support of investment by French Companies in Gujarat. France will host their country seminar during Vibrant Gujarat Summit to start working on mutual areas of interest.
To take it further, a delegation from France focused on food and food processing industry will visit Gujarat next month.
A high profile Vibrant Gujarat delegation visited France and met their senior government officials extending an invitation to become the partner country for Vibrant Gujarat summit 2017.
The delegation was led by L. Chuaungo, Principal Secretary (Primary and Secondary Education), Education Department, Government of Gujarat, accompanied by senior industry representatives from across sectors and had a series of one-to-one meetings with CEO's and top-level management of French companies. The delegation highlighted the growth prospects in Gujarat and the opportunities it has to offer for further enhancing bilateral trade between the two countries.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2017 will bring together Heads of States and Governments, Ministers, leaders from the corporate world, senior policy makers, heads of international institutions and academia from around the globe to further the cause of development and aid cooperation.
