The Freddie Mercury biopic will apparently not be going into production anymore, since the British actor Sacha Baron Cohen turned down the role due to "creative differences".
According to the BBC, the movie's writer Peter Morgan said that the biopic is "probably not going to happen" now that Cohen has pulled out, Metro.co.uk reported.
The untitled biopic, that was supposed to be helmed by Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper, was said to be centered around the early days of Queen, ending with their performance at the Live Aid concert in 1985, without touching on Mercury's death from Aids in 1991.
