French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius will arrive in New Delhi on Friday for a two-day visit to India where he will be holding deliberations on the preparations ahead of the Paris climate summit.
He will be accompanied by Ambassador for Climate Change Negotiations and Special Representative for COP21, Laurence Tubiana.
Fabius will also discuss the joint launch of International Solar Alliance by President François Hollande and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The alliance has been proposed by India.
He will meet his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj and Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar.
