After an impressive performance in the smash-hit 'It', Owen Teague has been cast opposite Gary Oldman in the supernatural thriller 'Mary.'
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Teague had landed another spooky role in the supernatural thriller from Entertainment and Entertainment One.
Michael Goi, cinematographer and director for 'Salem' and 'American Horror Story', is directing the feature.
'Mary' depicts the story on a struggling family that buys an old ship at auction in hopes of starting a charter business. Instead, they discover the ship's horrifying secrets once they are out on isolated open waters.
Oldman is playing the father who captains the old ship while Teague will play the boat's second-in-command as a surf punk taken under the captain's wing.
Tucker Tooley, Scott Lambert, Alexandra Milchan, and Scott Lumpkin are producing.

Production on the movie is slated to begin in late September in Alabama.
Teague had recently played the psychopathic bully Patrick Hockstetter as part of the 'Bowers Gang' in the latest horror adaption of Stephen King's novel 'It.'
The horror movie has been dominating box offices worldwide.
