British heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury has mistakenly challenged a top women's football player to a bout.
The angry world heavyweight-boxing contender was set to face Dereck Chisora in a bout for the British and European titles in Manchester this weekend and the fight was also a world title final eliminator.
But Chisora was forced to withdraw with a hand injury, which the boxer suffered in his final sparring session, leaving Fury agitated, Stuff.co.nz reported.
The pair have waged a war of trash-talk leading up to the fight and Fury took to Twitter to voice his frustrations with a tweet aimed at calling out unbeaten American heavyweight Deontay Wilder who goes under the handle of @BronzeBomber.
However, Fury mistakenly typed in the Twitter address of @LucyBronze, who just happened to be the Liverpool Ladies and England football player.
Fury's tweeted that he told everyone what would happen; find a real man to fight the furious1, and added 'pussys pussys pussys. @LucyBronze I want you punk?' to his tweet.
Bronze politely turned down the challenge, and tweeted 'Hahaha the tweets I'm getting because of this. Sorry to let everyone down, but I'm unavailable for a fight'.
