Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nalin Kohli said here on Thursday that there is a possibility that the Gandhi family was worried about some disclosure by former external affairs minister K. Natwar Singh through his book titled 'One Life is Not Enough

"After a long time, if the Gandhi family chose to go and meet with Natwar Singh on the eve of his book being released, and after having a strong relationship, perhaps there is something that they are worried about that should not come out in the book," said Kohli.

The book is based on Singh's tenure as a Congress leader in which he has claimed that Congress president Sonia Gandhi refused to become Prime Minister of India in 2004 because her son Rahul Gandhi opposed it, as he was afraid that like his father Rajiv Gandhi and grandmother Indira Gandhi, she also would be killed.

Reportedly, Sonia Gandhi and her daughter Priyanka Gandhi invited Natwar Singh to their house on May 7 to request him to delete such facts from the book.

It maybe recalled that Singh had to resign from the UPA-I Government in 2005 for his alleged role in the Iraqi food-for-oil scam.
