"She is normal; I have already told that she is stable. She is taking her food and other fluids also. It is yet to be decided when are we going to discharge her, and doctors are working on that," he said.

Chairman of the team probing the gang rape case, Ashok Sengupta, said that the reports have been sent for examination.

"The government would give personal, social and financial aid to the gang rape victim. The report has been sent for examination. As of now, I cannot say anything more," said Sengupta.

A 20-year-old tribal woman was allegedly gang-raped on Monday night on the order of the village court presided by village head, who decided to punish the girl for having an affair with a boy from a different community.
