'See You Again' by American rapper Wiz Khalifa and singer Charlie Puth has surmounted the title of "most watched video," beating Psy's 'Gangnam style'.
On December 21, 2012, 'Gangnam Style' became the first YouTube video to reach one billion views and it continued to be the most watched video on YouTube. In 2013, Psy declared his hit to be an "accident" and said, "Gangnam was not standard - that was an accident and accidents don't happen often."
Recently, on Monday the 'Fast and Furious 7' soundtrack, 'See You Again' surpassed the Korean singer's video.
Charlie Puth responded to this news with his tweet, "For the record, I joined @YouTube in 2007 hoping to make a video that would reach 10,000 views. Just heard about See You Again... wow."
Presently, South Korea's Gaon Chart hit has 2,896,302,566 views on YouTube whereas, the tribute to late actor Paul Walker single, 'See You Again' is nearly about to reach the three billion mark with 2,903,040,753 views.
The views can exceed and reach the limit of 9,223,372,036,854,775,808, or more according to the new YouTube settings which were earlier changed during Psy's buzzer hit.
