Gates of Kedarnath thrown open for pilgrims

The door of the famous Hindu temple of Kedarnath has been thrown open for the pilgrims and the visitors alike.

The gates of the historic Kedarnath temple was re-opened, following last year's massive flash floods that left scores of people dead and damaged property worth crores.

The famous abode of Lord Shiva which is a part of 'Char Dham Yatra' conducted by the Hindus was partly damaged which remained submerged in mud and slush which claimed several lives.
