George W. Bush has revealed in an anecdote-filled book that he once had a blind date with the daughter of President Richard Nixon, which didn't go so well.
The book about the former President George H. W. Bush, entitled '41 - A Portrait of My Father,' also reveals that the elder Bush arranged a blind date for young George W. with Tricia Nixon when he was a member of the House of Representatives from Texas in the late 1960s, the Huffington Post reported.
The 68-year-old 43rd President of the US, who made his first-ever trip to the White House to pick her up, wrote that during dinner, he knocked over a glass while reaching for some butter, which made him watch the red wine stain creeping across the table in "horror."
Young Bush added that when he fired up a cigarette, Tricia politely suggested him to not to smoke.
He further wrote that the date came to an end when she asked him to take her back to the White House immediately after dinner.
