As new Manchester United boss David Moyes was celebrating his first win in charge of Manchester United in Sydney, he said he was ready to play mind games with Mourinho and would love to repeat the 5-1 score line in his first competitive home game against Chelsea.
According to The Sun, after being asked if he would welcome a verbal battle with the Blues boss this season, Moyes said that someone from Glasgow would always enjoy these kinds of things and he was totally ready.
Meanwhile, the new United manager was impressed with his side as they bounced back from an opening defeat on their pre-season tour, the report said.
After being called on by Moyes for better performances, Danny Welbeck improved his finishing skills to score a double in front of the 83,000 fans at the ANZ Stadium, the report added.
