The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as per information provided by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has indicated that it has marginally gone up to USD 109.68/per barrel (bbl) as of Thursday.
On Wednesday, it was pegged at USD 109.46/bbl.
In rupee terms, crude oil prices also increased marginally to Rs.6842.94 per bbl on Thursday as compared to Rs.6825.93 /bbl on Wednesday.
This was due to the increase in price in dollar terms and rupee depreciation.
The rupee-dollar exchange rate on Thursday was Rs.62.39 to the dollar, as against Rs.62.36/to the dollar on Wednesday.
