Riding on overwhelming customer response leading up to the festive season, Go Colors, India's exclusive women's legwear brand, reported its highest-ever sales this festive season.

Breaking all previous records and setting a new benchmark, Go Colors retailed products over Rs. nine crore during 2015 festive season.

"Our festive season story has been about setting new milestones. The 90 percent growth in our retail sales is a real barometer of customer response towards branded legwear, accepting it as a key component of their wardrobes! We have seen a heathy growth in the core items 'Churidhar' and 'Leggings' whereas new products like Knitted Pants and our range of Palazzo offerings have seen a very good response from the consumer."

"The growth helped us achieve a healthy double-digit growth month-on-month. The sales momentum has been helped by the choice of over 120 colors that we offer and 18 different styles, also by the new products, the super stretch jeggings and slim-fit denim jeggings," said Director, Gautam Saraogi.

"We had ramped up capacity to meet the added demand in this festive season. Thanks to an improved market sentiment and our new winter range lined-up for launch in the coming months, we are planning to bring more excitement to the marketplace," Gautam Saraogi added.

Earlier this year, Go Colors had raised USD 10 million in funding from Sequoia Capital to grow the brand and the current festive season success can be attributed to the tremendous expansion the brand has done in a short span of time.

"We used the fund infusion to fuel our growth trajectory and catapult our Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) footprint across the country. We want to establish our EBOs across the length and breadth of India by this financial year end. This robust festive season growth is encouraging and has boosted our efforts to establish Go Colors as a legwear leader in India. Ultimately we want to be the one and only one stop destination for women's legwear" added Gautam.
