'Godfather' actor Abe Vigoda passes away at 94

American actor Abe Vigoda, who played the role of Tessio in 'The Godfather,' has passed away at the age of 94.

The legendary actor died under hospice care, TMZ.com reports.

Vigoda, who lend his voice for Tessio in 'Godfather' video games, was widely known for his work in American sitcom 'Barney Miller.'

He had also starred in "The Godfather Part II.
