Golden Globes 2018: 'The Post' nominated in 6 categories

Steven Spielberg's political thriller film 'The Post,' which stars Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep, has been nominated in six categories for the 75th annual Golden Globes.

The 'Shape of Water' is leading the movie nominations with seven nods, followed by 'The Post' and 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing,' 'Missouri' with six each.

Whereas, 'Lady Bird' has four and 'I, Tonya,' 'The Greatest Showman' and 'Dunkirk' have three each.

Tom Hanks has been nominated for the Best Actor award and Meryl Streep has also been nominated for the Best Actress award.

The film has also received a nomination for Best Picture Drama and Best Director award.

Apart from the above, the film has also been nominated for the Best original score and Best Screenplay awards.

The film also features Alison Brie, Carrie Coon, David Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Tracy Letts, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Paulson, Jesse Plemons, Matthew Rhys, Michael Stuhlbarg, Bradley Whitford and Zach Woods.

The movie, produced by my Pascal and Kristie Macisko Krieger, is all set to hit the theatres on Jan 12.
