Irish golfer Rory McIlroy appears confident about holding his world number one rank at the Deutsche Bank Championship, which starts from today.
Mclorry, who was pulled out of the British Open due to his ankle injury, felt that he was playing well enough to hold his top rank, Sport24 reports.
Meanwhile, Australian golfer Jason Day lashed out at Mclorry and said that actual ranking don't lie for him and he just want to play his best.
Reflecting to Day's three wins since July, Jordan Speith said Jason appears to be number one right now.
Jordan Speith further said his focus would be to surpass those who are in lead.
Mcllroy recently regained his world number one rank after Spieth missed the cut at the Barclays.
