Congress party on Tuesday said that 'good days' would come only when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government are ousted from power in the coming Lok Sabha polls in 2019.
Addressing to media persons after Prime Minister Modi's exclusive interview to ANI on Tuesday, Congress national spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said: "Good days are about to come as Prime Minister Modi is about to go."
On Prime Minister Modi's statement on the construction of Ram temple, Surjewala said: "PM Modi is confused and is trying to sidestep the issue. Congress strictly believes that whatever decision the Supreme Court gives on the issue should be accepted by all. There is no need for an ordinance in this regard."
"Today, Prime Minister Modi rejected his own party and RSS demand. We are happy the PM said the Supreme Court will decide the issue but he is trying to derail and confuse the people by saying that the government will bring an ordinance after the Supreme Court decision," he said.
Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal said the BJP is pressurising the Supreme Court to decide Ram temple issue at the earliest. "Why all leaders of BJP including party president Amit Shah are making public statements that the Supreme Court should do this and that," Sibal said while talking to ANI.
"They say that the Supreme Court judges should decide the matter at the earliest or else they should resign. The Law Minister creates pressure on the Supreme Court and says that SC should hear the matter as early as possible," added Sibal.

Congress party also alleged that there are personal allegations of corruption against Prime Minister Modi in Rafale jet deal. "Prime Minister Modi has once again spoken a lie that there are no personal allegations of corruption against him," said Surjewala.
"Then French President Francois Hollande said that a condition was put forward before France that the deal would only be finalised if it is given to Anil Ambani's Reliance company and not to Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL)," added Surjewala.
Surjewala said that after Prime Minister Modi came back from Pakistan, terrorists attacked Pathankot. "Our soldiers have lost their lives in the return gift that Prime Minister Modi brought along with him after returning from Pakistan. He invited ISI for the first time in 70 years' history of this country for Pathankot attack investigation," he added.
Congress spokesperson further said that demonetisation was the biggest scam in the history of India by the incumbent government. "When the evidence comes out, everybody in this government including Prime Minister Modi will prove to be a part of this scam," said Surjewala.
Former Union Minister and Congress leader Salman Khurshid said the BJP and Prime Minister Modi are "cultureless." "All democracies have different ideologies and they clash with each other but that doesn't mean you vanish one ideology that is different to yours," said Khurshid.
Meanwhile, Sharad Yadav of Loktantrik Janata Dal said that mob-lynching in the name of cow, demonetisation, farmers, Mandir-Masjid issue, unemployment and so on are the real issues and Prime Minister Modi-led BJP government has no answers for all these issues.
"Prime Minister Modi has failed to fulfill the promise on black money, cleaning of Ganga, and bringing the absconders back. Only three months are left for the elections. The BJP government has failed.
