Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today clarified saying that there is no truth in the reports which appeared in the media that bugging devices were found in the home of union minister Nitin Gadkari.
"Congress has raised voice both in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on this issue. I clarified that it is baseless," Singh said to the media outside the parliament premises.
"No complaint has been put against this case so, there is nothing to investigate," the Home Minister further said.
The bugging row caused fireworks in Parliament today as both houses were adjourned within minutes after a four-day break.
The Rajya Sabha was adjourned twice on this issue as an angry opposition reportedly chanted slogans for a JPC.
In the Lok Sabha, the Congress, Samajwadi Party and Janata Dal (United) had reportedly demanded that the question hour be suspended to take up the bugging case.
