Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said on Sunday that the Government is more willing to work on the suggestions of the opposition parties.
"The Government has given a list of bills which we want to take up in this session of parliament. Members of different parties wanted to discuss certain other important issues of public interest. The Government is more than willing to work on the suggestions of the opposition parties," said Naidu after attending the All Party Meet held today.
Calling the meeting fruitful and meaningful, he informed that in both the houses of the Parliament, 26 political parties, 40 leaders were present in the meeting.
He further said, except the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Trinamool Congress (TMC) almost all political parties were present.
He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was of the view that all important issues can be taken forward.
"The Government wants national agenda for development to be given priority; Insurance Bill is one in that direction. I am confident the opposition will coordinate with the Government on some bills, some new bills may also be introduced," Naidu added.
