The 60th annual Grammys saw Bruno Mars as the biggest winner at the star-studded ceremony.
The musician took home seven trophies, including album of the year and record of the year for '24K Magic', while Kendrick Lamar followed with five wins.
Meanwhile, country artist Chris Stapleton claimed three honours, multihyphenate Childish Gambino/Donald Glover nabbed two wins, while Alessia Cara took home the honour for best new artist.
Alessia Cara won 'Best New Artist', commenting that she had been practicing for a Grammy acceptance speech since childhood. Cara was the only female artist awarded during the three-and-a-half hour broadcast.
Ed Sheeran, only got recognised in two categories coming into the awards and won both - for Best Pop Vocal Album for his album 'Divide' and for Best Pop Solo Performance for 'Shape Of You'.
Last year's film awards contender 'La La Land' also picked up two wins for its soundtrack.
