Antoine Griezmann netted a late goal before Dimitri Payet added second in injury time as hosts France secured their place in the last 16 of the European Championship with a 2-0 win over Albania in their second Group A clash in Marseille on Thursday.
Although France were in possession throughout the match, they still struggled hard to open their account.
After a goalless first half, France finally manage to break the deadlock via striker Griezmann's header in the last minute of the match before Payet struck a stoppage-time curler to hand the hosts with a second consecutive win in the tournament.
France, who are currently leading the point table, began their quest for a maiden Euro title in 16 years with a battling 2-1 win over Romania, Sport24 reported.
Meanwhile, Albania, who lost their opening game against Switzerland, have to beat Romania in their next match in order to stand any chance of qualifying.
