Disney XD recently announced that 'Guardians of the Galaxy's animated TV series will be launched in 2015.
Marc Buhaj, senior VP programming and general manager at Disney XD, asserted that the movie and franchise quickly became a worldwide phenomenon and they were looking forward to working with the great team at Marvel Television to deliver an engaging animated series that fans could enjoy each week.
Alan Fine, Dan Buckley, Joe Quesada and Loeb will executive produce the project and Stan Lee, Eric Radomski, Cort Lane and Stephen Wacker will act as co-executive producers.
The movie crossed 600million dollars at the box office worldwide.
