Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly cautioned against judging domestic strugglers Manchester United ahead of their first leg Champions League quarterfinal on Tuesday.
Guardiola said that they face United, which is one of the most important clubs in the world, regardless of the current situation.
According to Sport24, the former Barcelona coach said that he knows deep in his heart, which club they are going to play against adding that maybe United do not make a good season in the Premier League, but they did very well in the Champions League.
Guardiola also said that when he sees United's Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Ryan Giggs, Danny Welbeck or Javier Hernandez, he knows the quality of these players.
Guardiola further added that he does not know why these players did not play good during the season, but added that for one or two games, they can make the best performance of the season.
Guardiola said that the truth is that the boss David Moyes' men can beat Bayern Munich.
United, who are currently at the seventh place in the Premier League 17 points adrift of leaders Liverpool, face the Bundesliga giants in Tuesday's first leg Champions League quarterfinal clash at Old Trafford, the report added.
