Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Chandigarh Gul Panag has called for a revolution against communalism and corruption.
Speaking to reporters here during an election campaign, she stressed on the importance of a government devoid of communalism and corruption.
"We are against corruption, we are against communalism, and I just want to say that for us every religion and every caste is the same. We will not let anybody feel that any religion or caste is better than others," she said.
"I believe that this is a revolution against communalism and corruption. And, I hope that people would join this revolution and they will participate equally for the development of our nation," she added.
Raghu Ram of the MTV Roadies fame, who campaigned for Panag confirmed his solidarity to the AAP.
"I have been planning to do something about communalism, corruption and about those people who fight amongst each other in the name of caste and religion. I won't get a better opportunity than this. I respect Arvind Kejriwal for this ideology. I support this movement from my heart and that is why I am here," said Raghu Ram.
