Jonas Brothers' long hiatus left fans discontent but that is exactly what the multi-talented siblings needed for a comeback, they revealed in a recent interview.

"We were at a standstill with our TV show and the movies," E! News quoted Joe Jonas saying in a recent interview with PAPER magazine.

"We were young adults, having to pretend like we're young teenagers," Joe remarked about their Disney days.

The trio garnered immense popularity with their Disney sitcom, and Nick Jonas remembers the show to have worked really worked well for them.

"I think it's important to say that, though we felt limited at times, bottom line, Disney was really good for us; really good training wheels for anybody that wants to become a musician or entertainer, as far as work ethic and all the rest,"

Nick added, "It was a major part of our story and a big way that our fans connect with us and continue to today."

Nick further explained how their musicianship, writing and performing abilities needed time to grow.

"We lost touch with what we wanted to say. We understood that our level of success and fame had reached a point, where our musicianship and writing and performing abilities needed time to grow and catch up to it," Nick remarked.

The brother trio took a break from their band in 2013 to concentrate on their solo careers and finally reunited after six years.

"It really took the last six years to figure out who we were as people and what kind of music we wanted to make," Nick Jonas said.

Jonas brothers had announced their comeback in February this year and soon released a new track 'Sucker' which went on to top the charts.

The son features the three brothers - Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas - and their lady loves- Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra- donning larger than life boisterous outfits.

They are coming up with another album titled 'Happiness Begins' in June and are also kick-starting a tour on August 4.
