Australia wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin has said that he is confident enough to counter Indian pace attack, warning them to be wary of their predictable bumper barrage in the fourth test in Sydney.
Haddin, who scored a momentum changing half-ton in Melbourne, said that he would combat them whatever way he see fit if Indians resort to their predictable tactics, adding that he need to get through that period and set up the game for his team.
Commenting on his performance in Melbourne, Haddin said that he feels to be in better touch with the bat than he did leading into last summer, adding that it was good to contribute with the bat the other day, but the big thing was they had to get through that night, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Haddin, who got bounced out in Brisbane, further said that there was no secret where Indian pacemen were going to bowl as it was pretty predictable, adding that it was pretty easy to get a plan because they knew what was coming and he hit two fours and they went back to conventional bowling, the report added.
Australia has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead and regained Border-Gavaskar trophy with the final Test match to be played in Sydney on Tuesday.
