Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has held 'clear the air talks' with his teammate Nico Rosberg in the Spa paddock over the Formula one racing duo's Hungary controversy.

The German had called for talks between the two Mercedes drivers and bosses Paddy Lowe and Toto Wolff ahead of Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix.

Mercedes' championship leader was left fuming after he was outgunned by his teammate yet again. While the 2008 champion roared from a pitlane start to a famous podium finish in third, Rosberg plummeted from pole to finish fourth, The Mirror reported.

Afterwards the team admitted that they were wrong to ask Hamilton to let his teammate through. Hamilton's only response to the issue was to say he would if Rosberg could get close enough. Hamilton laughed off the German's simmering fury as the sport returned from the long summer break.

And the Brit admitted that it came as no surprise that Rosberg was still unhappy. Hamilton said that there is not a lot of things he does or says that the German is happy with. He added that Rosberg has asked the team for a sit down and wants to discuss the issue.

Hamilton on the other hand said that he feels that the incident is in the past, it is done and dusted. He added that it is very clear and the understood situation is there was no wrong and there's no right.

Hamilton said that he is not upset with them and they're not upset with himi and they are going to allow them to continue racing.
