A new research has observed that handwriting is now considered a dying art as only 44 per cent put pen to paper every day.

According to a new study, almost 50 percent have never written a love letter, the Mirror reported.

The survey conducted by airline Thomas Cook reveals that 32 per cent feels that sticky notes are now the most popular thing to write on and 25 per cent prefer writing most in their diary.

According to the study, only 48 per cent of people have penned a love letter.

Expert graphologist, Adam Brand, said that handwriting is an endangered art so they should reclaim it and it is sad that less than 50 percent write every day and don't send postcards when they go on holiday.
