American football star Aaron Hernandez had reportedly beat up a fellow inmate at the Bristol County House of Correction, where he is being held without bail.

The former New England Patriots player, who is facing murder charges and has pled not guilty in the shooting death of a semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd, has been jailed since last June.

According to the Huffington Post, a source said that the fellow inmate had been harassing Hernandez, following which, Hernandez recognized the man while walking through a hallway and launched an attack, beating him up 'pretty badly'.

Reports have described Hernandez's 'new life in isolation' as 'a 10-foot-by-7-foot cell adorned only with a bunk bed frame, a stainless steel sink-toilet combination, and a metal desk with an attached stool.
